Second Grade Supply List

Below is a list of supplies that your child will need for the upcoming school year. I ask that you only label your child's markers, scissors, and crayon boxes with their name. The remainder of the supplies i.e. folders and notebooks will have special labels placed upon them, while the others such as Kleenex, pencils, glue and glue sticks will become part of our "community" supplies.

Please no rolling book bags as space in the classroom is limited. 

• (2) 24 count boxes Crayola Crayons
  
• (1) pack THICK , CLASSIC COLOR Crayola Washable Markers ~ If possible, 2 packs would be great as it allows them to switch out midyear.  
  
• (1) 4 oz. Liquid Glue
• (1) pair Fiskars Scissors
• (4) Marble Composition Notebooks (wide rule) ~ preferably black
• (24) TICONDEROGA brand #2 pencils ~ I can tell you from experience, TICONDEROGA pencils work the best and last the longest!
  
• (4) Folders with 2pockets and 3 prongs ~ 1 each red, blue, green, and purple ~ preferably plastic as they are more durable and last longer  
  
• (1) Plastic Yellow Folder ~ pocket only - no prongs
  
• (1) Box Kleenex
• (1) Roll Paper Towels 
• (1) Plastic Pencil Box ~ standard size (5" X 8" X 2.5") ~ space in your child's desk is limited
  
• (2) .77 oz. Glue Sticks
• (1) pack Pencil Cap Erasers 
• (3) 100 ct. packs 3 X 5 Ruled Index Cards
  
• (1) pack Wide Rule Loose Leaf Paper
  
• (1) pack  9 X 12 Construction Paper
